Block Based Coding

Block-based coding utilizes a drag-and-drop learning environment, where programmers use coding instruction “blocks” to construct animated stories and games.

With block-based coding program, kids can let their imaginations run wild, creating any number of Sprites, and bringing those creations to life with animation and storytelling.

As technology becomes ever more present in our daily lives, mastering basic computer programming no longer represents just a smart, forward-thinking exercise idea for progressive families, but rather a necessity for grown-ups and kids alike. In fact, programming for kids is becoming an increasingly popular topic. Children learn languages easily and coding is no different than a language.

Today, even kindergartners can be taught the basics of writing code. Acquiring these skills at such a young age will greatly influence their overall development, and studies have shown that coding strengthens other academic areas such as reading, spelling, and math.

Kids who master coding and programming logic will blossom into better problem solvers, and will also develop better analytical reasoning skills and deeper thirst for knowledge

A child who learns how to code will have the advantage in life with more employment opportunities available to them in the future, no matter which industry they decide to enter whether it be in the technology sector, finance, retail, health or other. This is an important reason why coding should be taught in schools.
