‘Creativity is making decorative items out of discarded waste’
During this pandemic, awareness is rising, about importance of recycling.
Best out of waste is a craft which follows this environmentally friendly principle and at the same time creates useful and picturesque objects out of waste products. In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, Lawrence High School ICSE organized a virtual ‘Best out of waste’ Competition for the students of Grade 3 on 9th of July 2021.
Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy. They made very creative and innovative models and art items from different waste materials. They used reusable and recyclable materials like newspapers, shoeboxes, bottles, coconut shells, paper
glasses and much more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items, leaving everyone totally impressed. Preservation, recycling, conservation, reduce and reuse etc., are imbibed into young hearts and minds by demonstrating this care for our environment.
