Raksha Bandhan, festival was celebrated on 19th August 2024. It was marked with a fun-filled Rakhi making activity at Lawrence Kindergarten. Under the guidance of teachers, children enthusiastically made their own colourful Rakhis, using glitter sheets, sequins and ribbons.
Girls and boys tied Rahki on each other’s wrists, kept tilak and fed sugary sweet to strengthen their peer bonding. Through this activity, students understood the significance of Raksha Bandhan, which symbolizes the unconditional love and protection between siblings. This hands-on experience not only fostered creativity but also instilled a deeper understanding of the festival’s values.
