Poem is meant for enjoyment and the children enjoy the beauty of expression, thoughts, feelings, rhymes, rhythm and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the virtual English recitation activity was conducted for Nursery, LKG and UKG classes. Children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The children chose a variety of topics for their recitation like teddy bears, ice creams, hot buns, vegetables, fruits, seasons, animals, vehicles etc. Nursery rhymes not only develop speaking skills but also help express children’s feelings through facial expressions and gestures. Our Little Lawrencians demonstrated these skills with great zeal and enthusiasm.
