On the 11th
and the 14th
of September 2018, the students of UKG went on a field trip to MEG Museum. They observed and acquired information about many things at the museum. The museum had medals and honors, shields and trophies, uniforms and weapons such as swords, guns, rifles, hand grenades, land mines, models of boats and bridges, binoculars, photos and paintings of soldiers from olden days to the present time, belongings of war heroes, tanks and cannons
. Two soldiers accompanied the children around the museum and interacted with them and explained them about the vital role MEG and the center plays in Indian army. They also visited the war memorial. They witnessed the training area of soldiers, where they are trained to overcome all the obstacles to combat the enemy on border. Children were excited and enjoyed the field trip and developed respect for the soldiers who sacrifice their lives to protect us and our country from enemies.
