Thumb printing (14th June 2017): Each class took up different topics like animals, insects, trees, birds and flowers. Children enjoyed thumb printing activity by dipping their fingers in different colours and filling the outline of the given pictures.
Pencil printing (21st June 2017) : Each child was given outline pictures of vegetables and fruits. Children dipped the pencil in different colours of paints and printed to created polka designs.
Paper collage ( 12th July 2017): was an interesting activity with different topics like garden and garden creatures, done by UKG children. They enjoyed filling the given shapes with bits of old news paper, crepe paper and glaze paper.
Rakhi making (26th July 2017): Children were given foam sheet in different shapes, glazed paper and decorative items which they put together and made colourful ‘RAKHI’. They also learnt the significance of ‘Raksha Bandan’.
Flag making (9th August 2017): Children were given thick sheet of paper to cut into pieces to make our National flag. They were explained about the significance of the tricolor and ‘Asoka Chakra’. Children enjoyed the activity by coloring the national flag.
Krishna Janmashtami ( 23rd August 2017): Children were dressed up like ‘Radha and Krishna’ and had performed dances, sang songs and also spoke about the importance of Janmashtami.
Thread painting (23rd August 2017) : Children were given different colors of paint with pieces of wool, they dipped the wool in the paint and put it in between pages and pulled out the wool. They created beautiful designs.
Best Out of Waste( 6th September 2017) : Children brought waste materials and made various things like photo frames, pen holder, animal faces out of plastic bottles, flower vase, flowers, parts of plants, wall hangings to name a few. Children not only enjoyed the activity but it was also an opportunity to showcase their creativity.
Book mark (20th September 2017):Children were given strips of thick paper, they drew miniature pictures of flowers, butterflies, cartoon characters. Most importantly children learnt the usage of bookmark and how to take a better care of their books.
