Various activities were held for our tiny tots of KG Section during the months of June to September 2017.
PLAY DOUGH(12th July 2017): It was a fun way for children to play creatively and imaginatively, an opportunity to use their ideas which stimulates their senses. Play dough activity is great for all multi-sensory development in children.
PAPER COLLAGE ACTIVITY(13th July 2017):Children were given an outline picture of circle. Children enjoyed tearing papers and sticking them.
RED DAY(26th July 2017): The red day started off with teachers and children dressed in red colour and a song ‘My Red Balloon’.The classroom was decorated with red balloons and introduction of red colour continued. Children did collage work on outline of Circle by sticking red crepe paper. Pictures and objects of red colours were displayed in the classroom. It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting brightness.
SPONGE PRINTING(09th August 2017): Children were given square shaped sponge and colours to dip and dub inside the letter B. Sponge printing activity allowed the kids to try out different ways to express their creativity.
COLOURING ACTIVITY ( 16th August 2017): During Colouring activity children coloured pictures of a butterfly with different colours namely, red, blue, yellow. They also learnt about different colours. They not only enjoyed the activity but it also helped them to improve their eye-hand coordination.
GREEN DAY(23rd August 2017): The green day saw children and teachers clad in green. Children brought green colour objects and spoke about them in the show and tell activity. Children enjoyed the activity thoroughly.
VISIT TO FIRE STATION : (1st September 2017): A field trip to the local fire station was organized for the Pre- KG children, as a learning experience for every child. They became aware of the emergency services the Fire station provides for the people. The children were amazed by the various demonstrations performed by the Fire Brigade.
THUMP PRINTING (6th September 2017): Children had fun during this activity by dipping their thumbs in colours and making a print on the paper. It helped them to enhance their fine motor skills.
